GOOD FORM
Chrysology Has Improved TACKLES MILE (From "N.Z. Truth's" Auckland Rep.) "THE* Christmas Mile at Ellerslie \ takes a lot of winning, and this year's contest for Boxing Day is no exception. Entries include many spring winners from all over the countryside, down as far as Trentham and Riccarton, notably Lady Pam, Chryso-logy, Grecian, Gustavo, A r ertig'ern and Lovesong, and all these are worth discussion. It is a case of going all the way to win over the Easter Mile course up north, and" then hanging on. Royal Doulton, Sir Russell, Lucy Rose, Ti Tree, Envoy, Cynthia N, Refresher, Mervette, Eager Rose and Mosque are all being discussed, of which lot Mosque and Cynthia N., have been giving some encouragement. But Riccarton form may be taken as a fair indication, and m this respect the victories of Grecian, Lady Pam and Chrysology come under notice. ' Chrysology may be the one to show most improvement, * and as the Lowry nag knows Ellerslie track well enough to have won twice m the spring, both Lady Pam and Grecian may be put to a hard test to head him off.
