MOTHING has happened during the *•* past week to mar the. prospects of a great race m the Great Northern Foal Stakes. , Both Movie Star and La Poupee indulged m sprints before the Woodville race crowd, and both- promise toy strip at their best. . As for Jamieson's trio, Chief Jewel is on the improve all the time, while' Ammon Ra is being tuned right up for the fray. Tea Chat is still going along safely. Qratorian- is making headway and * also faced the race crowd at Woodville. Whether. Jamieson will start three remains to be seen, but everything points that way. It is generally understood Gray is to ride one— probably Tea Chat. He will sy 11 be able to call on Bagby and Voitre, and it will be decidedly interesting to note which is to be Voitre's ride. , Anyhow, Movie. Star and La Poupee will need to be at their vary best to stop Jamieson's stable from taking the honor*.
