JF j'ou would have eyelashes a la Garbo, there's only one thing for it — attention, assiduous attention with' never a let-up until achievement. The old-fashioned, time-tried method of nightly applications of vaseline is probably the most efficacious, but it must be kept up, none of this five nights out of seven, but every night, and care must be taken not to let the vaseline touch the eyes. Another plan is to use a mixture of ten grains of sulphate of quinine to two ounces of sweet almond oil, applying nightly, this also should be kept away from the eyes. Again, there's clipping if you're sufficiently strong-minded to attempt it. If a tiny bit is snipped off the lashes now and again it is said that a stronger and thicker growth follows.
