A LIKELY QUARTET AT ALEXANDRA PARK (From "N.Z. Truth's" North Island Rep.) CORM first day at Alexandra Park * may have a big bearing on Saturday's fields. It was expected that Linnett the Great, Belle Axworthy, Dan Direct, Gold Treasure and Royal Triumph would make a showing wet or dry either day at Auckland. The second day's races are on Saturday, and if any of the four mentioned step on the green not too severely penalised, be on.
