Sir Charles and The Bird
iA GOOD deal of surprise has been n expressed at the fact that when Sir Charles Fergusson arrived at Southampton he had a parrot with him. Apparently his affection "for the bird exceeds any fear he may have of the dreaded parrot disease. In view of the restrictions placed on the importation of these birds into England,^ it appears that an exception has v been made m the case of Sir Charles, 1 whose renowned charm of manner must hay« proved irresistible to the authoritiea. Sir Charles is a well-known lover of pets. May this latest addition to his collection live long '• and learn only the choicest English. , iiiiiijiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitiiiiiiiiiiniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
