Mending Well
CARRON'S left hand was injured be- . fore, and during, the Wellington bout, and to outward appearances there was only one cure — a long spell. When seen the ether day Sarron had a leather contraption round the hand and wrist, and Pete reckoned that the. hand was mending nicely. Pete is going into .this third battle with his eyes open, and if the hand gives out on him he will only have himself to blame. The public will not want to hear anything about it after the fight is over.
