Leopardi Js Spotted In Ten

(By Cable — From "N.Z. Truth's" Special Sydney Representative). A FAST runner but a feeble fighter, sums up the Italian, Leopardi, " who met Jack Haines at the Sydney Stadium on Saturday. Leopardi surprised the crowd by lasting until the tenth round, when the referee stopped the fight and crowned the Australian. The Italian is a fair boxer, but is not rugged. He did well enough, m the early rounds, but was going backwards all the time. He will not stand up and fight. Haines forced the fighting more than usual and took risks m attempting a quick knock-out. > He failed to drop Leopardi, but the Italian was so badly used up m the tenth round and .could hardly keep his feet and the bout was stopped.
