The low price of 22 cents a gallon m Rumania, as compared with 31 to 38 cents m France and 38 to 43 cents m the United Kingdom, was attributed to the fact that Rumania produces and refines is own petroleum. The lowest retail price for benzine is m Japan, where the cost ranges from 22 cents to 29 cents a gallon. Benzine^ m Bolivia costs 64 cents a gallon and on the Gold Coast from 63 to 64 cents.
