Getting Him Ready
IT would seem that there is every hope of Glendowie fulfilling some of his southern cross-country engagements during the winter, for the son of Lucullus has been reported hunting up north since competing unsuccessfully at the Great Northern meeting. Glendowie certainly has only to come back 1 to his form of last winter to be worth more than a nibble, and should he trek south, it may be taken for certain that Trainer Albert Rhodes regards him as a better horse than his Ellerslie form indicated.
