Darb y h as methods peculiarly his own. and they are born of long experience of life . and human problems. His , method of reform is directed through an appeal to the finer instincts of delinquents. Each case is treated according to the individual temperament, but although the approach to the better nature may vary according to circumstances, the underlying message never varies. "Be a man and act like one," is Darby's message. Lenient, but just, W.H.D. gives his charges "a fair go."
