The Importance of a Car of Style.
The Trend of Style is International Among the proudest possessions of a New Zealand family is a Motor Car. A man is often judged by the car he keeps and the way he keeps it. It is not surprising, therefore, that the Whippet has found its way instantly into, public favour. The Mechanical genius is just as much a prize as ever to the Motor Car Manufacturers, but the strong demand m these days is the genius of artistic design, whose efforts contribute greatly to the success" of a Motor Car. All. these countries have now adopted the fundamental principles , of antistic design.. The fundamentals of good design are noticeable m the cars of any country m the World. To-day Motor Car Experts achieve an ideal proportion m balance, m the execution of lines and curves and m the handling of colours. The adoption of this does not mean to say that all cars look alike, any more than ail good paintings are .alike, or all, pieces of good music of similar ' sound, but that, the designers of the world have come to a mutual understanding of what; is beautiful m the Motor Driven Vehicle. ?: * . -■ - v ■ ' The appearance of cars m the light car Field has Ibeen revolutionised by the 1929 Whippet Models.
