HOST MONTGOMERY
tf.'T'HERE'S a welcome waiting for ■1 you down' m Dixie;" wrote a composer a few years ago, but if the same man had met Adolphy Montgomery, \i is safe to sa.y'<that he 'would have given' Cambridge a place m .the song. .-. . .' ... "Dolph" Montgomery is Cambridge to a very large extent. Mine host .of the Central Hotel, he is' 'the Un-crowned-king'of the pretty little coun-, try town, ,and he has more friends than there are cows m the. whole 'of' the Waikato district. ,_ '.-. Cambridge has adopted him as much as he has adopted the toWn as his place. of residence, and he is now looked upon as one of its permanent assets. He is one of the good sports of the Waikato, and it would be hard indeed to picture Cambridge without him.
