Whether his injuries were due to an assault by an attendant, or whether they were the result of a fight with another inmate of the Institution, is the problem the Supreme Court will endeavor to solve. An attendant has been committed for trial before the court at its February session, on a charge of having assaulted a patient whose name is Liddle. A few day's ago Henry Dixon Tyrer, the attendant concerned, Was arraigned before a magistrate m the Wellington Police Court, and some sensational allegations Were made against him by witnesses.
