The owner may procure hoodpatching material with which he can easily repair ripped or fractured hoods. "Hood Patch," a Leggett _Red Diamond product, has the advantage of a layer of self- vulcanizing material and is sold with cement and a roughener, and- when the patches have been applied hood dressing 'may be used to restore newness to the hood. It is m three colors — black, khaki and grey— and all are waterproof and a khaki hood may be renewed with hood dressing. The dressing has a rubber base, and when applied leaves the hood quite flexible.
