LOOK TO DICK
Gollecting Money In ::■; The Hurdles (Fronti "N.Z. Truth's" Auckland Rep.) Last summer meeting, at Ellerslie, horses from Dick Hannon's Waikato stable won three of the four hurdle races on the programme. WITH JCing's Guard and Ripon Abbey . to do battle this coming meeting, it will be surprising if they return 7 home without some of the money. 7 As for King's Guard he is good at his best, but is without recent ..-V racing. With Ripon Abbey it is different. He is at his best,. and if both start .in^ the Grafton Hufdles oh Boxing Day they will appeal as a bracketed pair. Wharncliffe is a Grand National winner engaged which : can stay on, while Beaumont is a likely competitor to keep outside interest m the contest. -V , ;■■' ,'-,:. Of the others^ Pouri, M-m_rarii,7Laay Ciritra, Potoanu'l and Uralla are all winners, and likely to give some trouble. '...:';. ;,. .; .'.. ," ." ...-.-7 The fences have to be jumped at Ellerslie, and this is the only stumbling block regarding Beaumont, which haa the speed. 7 .The finish may rest between;: •7 - HAISNON^S PAIR, .-,.'..' 7 BEAUMONT, > POURI.
