Last summer meeting, at Ellerslie, horses from Dick Hannon's Waikato stable won three of the four hurdle races on the programme. WITH JCing's Guard and Ripon Abbey . to do battle this coming meeting, it will be surprising if they return 7 home without some of the money. 7 As for King's Guard he is good at his best, but is without recent ..-V racing. With Ripon Abbey it is different. He is at his best,. and if both start .in^ the Grafton Hufdles oh Boxing Day they will appeal as a bracketed pair.
