IF there is one man m the south who can be regarded as the good Samaritan to racing clubs it is "Lucky" Jim Samson. At the height of his successes, which were many, Jim's string of gallopers and pacers m active commission numbered, at times as many as forty. The liberal manner m which he nominated for meetings was , a windfall for racing clubs. Jim has now planned a little globe-trotting,' and m April next he will leave for 'a twelve months' jaunt to England and America. Consequently he intends to put all his prads on the market and dispose of them before he goes. - : Southern clubs will miss the liberal hand of Jim Samson while he is away.
