Richfield Leaves His Field There was a lot of talk the first day at Otaki about a horse called Richfield. He was well back then, but he unwound a run that brought him up into fourth place. It was a great effort. A look through the book showed that he was m the Maiden 1 the next day, and, when he took his place punters '.were all but killed ■m" the rush.. - : ' j ■ • ' Once again Richfield failed to go away on,, terms, and with a furlong covered he was anything but nicely placed.
