Dunedin's Dean
IN Dunedin, the good people say that if you want to see an example of a
man who has really lived — a man who has given his best years ungrudgingly to the service of his fellowmen — you must meet Dean "Fitchett, that grand old man who is such a popular figure m the English church.
The dean is ninety -three-— in years. In mind, body and spirit, he is the envy of many a man who has not yet passed the fifty mark.
Ninety-three,"! And an accomplished pianist. Ninety - three! And an authority on all matters that influence the lives of men.
Surely, the man of sixty who thinks he is "too old" should think of the dean and be thoroughly ashamed of himself. ■■■■'..
With keen eye and firm tread, the dear old dean goes his way — tolerant, observant and friendly.
