IT is difficult to say which of the two faces — that of the clock on the Alex!- --' andra Park tote, Auckland, or the benevolent countenance of John Rowe the more familiar to the Auckland trotting fraternity.
On second thoughts, also m view of the fact that the clock is mechanical and serves only one purpose, we are inclined to take our ticket on J.R., who celebrates this year his silver jubilee as president of the Auckland Trotting Club. ■■■•'■ ■•-■■• '.■.■.-■
