SHOULD you be m Christchurch during Carnival or National weeks and feel disposed to call upon Frank Cother, secretary of the Canterbury Jockey Club, be wise and. make an appointment, for if you call round "on spec." the chances are that Frank will be up .to: his neck m work with little spare time to talk about the weather.

Christchurch has a heavier racing calendar than any other centre of the Dominion and Frank has plenty to keep him busy. .

Years of service have familiarized him with all the details of. the racing game.

Owners, trainers, jockeys, "stipes" / and the whole Who's Who of the Turf turn to Cother for information when > "the big meets" are the star turn.

Obliging and courteous, Cother does his bit to foster a reputation that his club is the most progressive m the Dominion.

Whether it is or not, is a matter for racing folk to decide.
