AMONG the recent lists sent out by Home publishers, the name of W. J.
Smyth, Christchurch, causes the book-lovers of New Zealand to lift an interested eyelid.
For Smyth's book, "Jean of The Tussock Country," has received most promising criticisms from English writers and already the press of New Zealand is commenting on the work of one of our own authors.
