Glanville's Fame
TO have lived m Christchurch for any time and then confess that you
have never met Dan Glanville is Indeed an admission of social ignorance worthy of a hermit.
As Dan Glanville, the chemist, he is sufficiently well known to need no further introduction, but he has wider interests to occupy his spare time when not grappling with the weird and mysterious hieroglyphics of doctor's prescription.
For an ardent sportsman is Dan. Tennis, for example m wmch he displays sufficient prowess to walk off with the Avonside singles championship, as he did the other week.
But although he is adept with the racquet, tennis is not his only pastime. As a trotting enthusiast he is unown throughout the Dominion as the owner ot that popular gree-gee which bears the household name of Great Bingen. What more need be said about Dan's prominence In the trotting game? Always bright and cheerful, Glanville is as popular as he deserves to be — and that is saying a lot.
