Stuart's Empire

C4TJOUSE FULL!"— two very small li words; but, oh! how dear, how very dear, they are to the heart of a man named Pitt, manager of ihe Empire Theatre, Dunedin. In his successful effort's to give the good people of Dunedin the best possible entertainment for their "quid siller," Pitt is backed up by an efficient and loyal staff which correctly classifies him as one of the best. Managing a picture theatre is usually considered to be a job which brings strong men to their knees. Programmes, orchestras, staff, the comfort of exacting patrons — these are but a few of the dozens of little items m the day's work. Yet, somehow, Pitt manages to give complete happiness to every member of his audiences, complete satisfaction to his staff and complete joy to his directors.
