A Bad Pick
DEFORE the meeting it was thought y that Wedding March would be a runner m the hurdles m preference to the big steeplechase. However, it was the other way round, and as it turned out it was a bad way too.Wedding March ran like a novice m his outing, and of thirteen to finish he was only, ahead of three. *. * * Home At Last ETOR quite a time now Lady Limond ; has been expected to win a .race, but though supported on' several occasions she has failed to land the bacon. She came home on Tuesday m the Trial and most of her former supporters were hot on on £his occasion. They had tired oO her and thus let pass by a dividend that would have more than recouped their past losses. .'* * .*' FLYING sods caused some damage to • jockeys on Tuesday and a couple had "eyes" at the end of the day. * * * Just Missed V DUNTERS m the North Island are *** just about sick of Rowley, which they have 'supported time without number, and nl.so without return. Yet at Trentham on Tuesday, the Polydamon horse all but got there, and even for second he paid good money. Some people may have got square, but it is a good bet that the multitude did not.
