sound knowledge, of racing law. He knows the game m theory and also m practice, for he has had to. pay for his experience. , Racing horses opens one's eyes more than a fraotion and as F.E. has had his colorß carried all round, the northern part of the island he has seen and inwardly digested a few thingsgood, bad and indifferent. Just at the present time a lot of people m Auckland would like to have a piece of him on the question of the ten-shilling tote at Ellerslie. But that is another story.
