A Male Quartet THE Salisbury Singers were first ,* heard m public through their broadcast performances — an Introduction which has given them an accepted place as probably the best male quartet singing m England to-day. They are accomplished artists, who sing with sincerity, and a full sense of their responsibility. Their renderings of "When Evening's Twilight" and "Sweet and Low" are well done and the purity of tone yield by the new Columbia recording adds to the record's beauty. * * * Some Good Dances COME particularly attractive new reV '•■•' cords by the Gramophone Company make available, with the aid of that marvellous "H.M.V." portable, gramo"phbne, a fine array of dances, whether one-step, fox-trot, valse or tango;- and all recorded by famous players.
