"Does your lodger bring m a jar of beer every night which you share together?" he asked. "Indeed, he does not. He brings a jar m once a week and that lasts till Monday night. He brings it on Saturdays*" Counsel thounght for a moment. "Oh," he said, "two days' supply, eh? How much does the jar hold, then?" "A gallon. It's not too much, is it?" she flashed back.
