HOOPER'S LIKELY PAIR

Easter Handicap Probables

KOHARA COMLS BACK TO FORM

(From "Truth's 1 " Special Christchurch Representative.)

Kohara should be fit to give a good account of himself m tho Easter Handicap ,at Addington on Saturday.

THE Oakhampton representative was g-iven a race at New Brighton and has built up during his good- rest. It is obvious that Loganwood cannot go a distance, and Harbour Light has yet to. strike form. ' Dillon Wilson will be suited by the dirt track at Addington, and on his good display at New Brighton he will have to be reckoned with. Countryman's form is too disconcerting to bother with him any further and Dreamalion is now m a class where the opposition will keep him quiet. . Audacious is a big possibility. He has not raced over two miles since the Auckland Cup, but he has stepped out over a mile and a quarter. He will be m great buckle to chase the £1000 stake on Saturday. Dolly Dillon and Roicole are too close to Black Admiral. • He raced well at New Brighton and

has done well since. Jack Potts figures on 48yds. He was a competitor m a ten furlong ovent at New; Brighton, and looks all the better for the race. • ■ ■

Queen's Own is m the same stable as Audacious. The three back-markers, Logan Lou, Logan Chief and Minton Derby, have a big task m front of them. Ossie Hooper's candidates, Audacious and Queen's Own, should be favorites, with Kohara and Dillon Wilkes also well fancied.
