One of the best of the Indian customers oi international smuggler Bosshard was Sir Hari Singh, . the mysterious Mr. "A" . who . appeared, or, rather, did hot appear, m a famous English blackmail case recently. Sir Hari Singh took a liking to much of Bosshard's jewels, and bought £8000 worth. Other Indian princes -were good customers,' and Bosshard found that the native rulers m the upper Spice Islands had money to spend on good jewels. He moved round quite a lot m court circles.
