America has been revelling' m some extraordinary admissions about the simple faith of certain personages concerned m the great trial, Bryan and the Bible versus Science and EvoluClarence Darrow asked McKenzie, "Do you believe that God looks like a man?".-, ; •.-.-■•■.. "Yes," answered McKenzie,. who is one of the. counsel -for the prosecution of the school-teacher Scopes. And recently < someone quoted- the following statement .from a speech by Evangelist' Dwight L. Moody, a great .supporter of the Bryan move against Evolution: "If the Bible told me. the moon was made of green cheese I 'would believe it!". The famous navigator, Captain Slocum who went around the world m his little vessel. "The Spray," tells how he called on Oom Paul Kruger, a profound believer m the literal interpretation of the Bible. When the navigator spoke ~~ of the "round world" Kruger shuddered at his irreligion. "The world is flat." he said definitely, "The Bible says so." And he waved all objections aside.
