Bring Back My Trousers To Me
The plight of a gentleman who has lost hi 8 trousers is awful to contemplate. "Once Bitten" m a long letter to "Truth," laments his lost breaks. He says that some months ago he gave a trouser length to a journeyman tailor to make up and paid three-quarters of cost of making. When trousers were finished they were not right and some alterations were required. He returned them to the tailor and is now unable to get them back. He has written four times demanding their return. "What would be the best proceedings to take against the tailor, civil or criminal" he^ asks, Mand which is the cheaper? Also is a judgment of a court affected by the Statute of Limitations"? "Bring a civij claim," is "Interpreter's advice, and the answer to the second question is "No."
