You have tried toasted bread, toasted bacon, toasted and possibly toasted kidneys, a*hd know how good they all are. But have you ever smoked toasted tobaccos? The toasting process, as you know, develops flavor m the case of the above mentioned edibles — and it has precisely the same effect m the case of tobacco.
