PRINCESS THEATRE.
Rudyard Kipling's capital story, "The Light that Failed," has been bi'ought to the screen and is showing at the Princess. From the thrilling episodes jf the Soudan war to life m London is the scope offered m "The Light that Failed," the story of an artist who strives to finish the one great work of his life before he becomes blind. In jealous rage his model destroys the work while he remains ignorant of the fact, and there follows sorrow and effort to compensate. Jacqueline Logan has the role •of the model, a street waif of London, Percy Marmont, famed for his wovk m "If Winter Comes," is the artist, and the cither principals are Sigfrid I-lolmquist and David Torrenco. Another big picture showing is "Pleasure Mad."
