HE OF "THE HATAITAIIAN."
"Published under the direction of the Hataitai School Committee, "The Hataitaiian," official organ of the abovementioned ' Wellington school, must be almost unique among the appurtenances of primary school life m New Zealand. We assume that the more literary work of the , publication is done by "old" scholars and post-prim-ary scholars (those m the colleges, etc.). but m any case their devotion is all to the credit of the school, and .their skill m writing does credit to the foundation of their education (which is the school's business) as well as to the superstructure added by experience. There are many bright things m "The Hataitaiian." Here is one: . The editor worked with a pencil red, (But the editor's smile was blue) ; He kicked the office cat into space, And methinks he would, with an equal grace ■ Have kicked the author too. DON'T YOU?
