Pink Note will not be a starter at Wingatui next week. He is a bigframed youngster and is to be given plenty of time. Even with all his weight Loughrea won't be far away from being favorite lif stepped out m the big heat next week. He has a big following locally. Some are thinking of writing Tione off ,their list of prospectives. Frequently that's when they win. Heather Lad was fully expected m his solitary outing at Geraldine, but he didn't get among the dividends. His legs look like giving trouble. Wapping will be unlucky if he doesn't catch some money at some of the approaching meetings. Gorgeous ran well enough at Geraldine to show that he is well. He will strip a better horse next week. Kurow has always been a happy hunting ground of Dave Wilson's and he took three there this week. Mountain Dew is well forward and ready to race at any time now. Fulmar looks sharpened up by his racing at»Geraldine and should line up fit and well m the Guineas next week. Buoyant is more than useful and is just the sort likely to bob up at any' time among the hacks. ' . v Too much notice shouldn't be taken of Happy Warrior's form at Geraldine the second day. The boy on top didn't show the best of judgment. ■■ -. Cupidon is m steady work on the Southland tracks and moving soundly. Billy Dunne has been re-appointed starter for the Forbury Park Trotting Club and the assistant's job was given 1 to Alec. Ferguson, owner of Bonnette.
