Advertising For Pugs' Services,
The writer 'has always had a notion m the back of his cranium that' there were too many pugs m this Dominion, but apparently there are not, for m this issue the Marlborough Association is advertising for the services of puga who are prepared to box m Blenheim at the middle of October for a moderate purse. The Blenheim Association is like many others m the country — hot too flush of the stuff that keeps the wolf away from the door. Intending applicants are advised to get m touch with Mr. A. J. Parrls, Secretary, Blenheim, or Mr. George Blanshard, care of the G.P.0., Wellington.
