The scenes for "The Covered Wagon" are laid m the great out-of-doors where one sees the miles of covered wagons winding their tortuous way across the prairie from east to west. The spectacle 'of this huge- train of '""travelling homes" crossing the flooded , Yukon is indeed a thrilling sight. .The wagons are strapped to huge logs which help to float them acrpss the raging waters. Or the old forts of the West, one gets a glimpse, m this superb picture; the beautiful snow scenes, the prospecting for ' gold, and the Indians , all go to make the production very absorbing. Through, it all runs a delightful love story that will not fail to make the heart beat arid the blood, run quick. The usual gazette and comedy will
