NEW ZEALAND TEAM FOR SECOND TEST.
The following New Zealand team has been selected to play against the Chinese University team m the second Test to-day (Saturday), on the Basin Reserve: — Goal: Ewing (Wellington). Backs: Anderson (Otago) and Mo-, Kinstry (Auckland). Halves: McCreanor.. (Canterbury), Roots (Poverty 'Bay), and Neesham (Auckland). Forwards: McDougal (Otago), Dacre (Auckland), Cook (Southland), Lothian (Wellington), and Williams (Auckland). Given fine weather to-day, the Basin Reserve will probably have the largest crowd it has ever held m its history, when the attraction will be two Association football matches. At 1.30 p.m. the leaders m the Senior League, Marist and V.M.C.A., will play n. curtain-raiser, and this will be full of interest from the word "go" to the final whistle. The /Chinese University students will play their second Tes,t against the pick of New Zealand's best. Since the arrival of the Chinese m New. Zealand the results of matches played have been fairly evenly divided, and as the Chinese now understand each other's play their team work is excellent. To, avoid-a crush, readers, are arvised to get to the Basin early.'
