Armed .with a sheaf of foolscap over both sides of which was scribbled all manner of .hieroglyphics, which he declared he had been directed by electrical influences m the atmosphere to write, but of which' he had not yet got the key. a • pale-faced individual named William Robinson, aged 33, pleaded guilty to vagrancy before Mr. H. A. Young. S.M., at Hamilton last week. Robinson admitted that he had no money and had done no work for two years, having subsisted by cadging m and around Frankton. The .Magistrate thought, the best thing ho could do for accused was to introduce him to work again with the idea of again getting him into the habit of doing a little, and he sentenced him to throe months' hard labor. His Worship told the man that by. the time he was released from gaol the winter would be over and he could makp a new' start with the advent of summer.
