New Claimant for World's Record. With a flourish of talk— mainly by ticket collectors at tho door — a flamboyant youth, Jim Robinson, played a piano m Wellington recently for 100 hours 11 minutes, and was acclaimed by his own modest self as world's champion. Indeed, his card bears the impression: Eiolder of World's Championship. On Tour. But Jim must revise his card. On top of his announcement comes word from Leonard A. Walker, "Shortlands " Marine Parade, Napier,' that he is world's champion and knocked Kobinson's record, kite high two years ago. "I have tho honor of holding the world's record myself, having played continuously for 112J4 hours," he says. "This performance was established m Napier during- Shopping t Week two years ago this coming September, nnd I hold, a certificate signed by a committee of prominent business men of the town, also a J.p I can produce it to prove my claims" In self- protection, "Truth" must put a word m here. This is the last letter If anyone has played for 200 hours or 300, or a 1000 we don't want to hear about it. Finis!
