"Prisoners of Love," starring Betty Compson, the heroine of "The Miracle Man," will have an extended season at the Strand Theatre. Miss Compson haa here one of those; roles that call for the supreme m the art of portraying emotion. She is seen as a young girl brought up m the lap of luxury, and then forced to grapple with the problems of an unsympathetic world. Accused 'by her own father of playing with the fires of passion, the girl learns that he is buying the silence of a former mistress, and her cup of sorrow is filled to overflowing. ' *— » f W&8
