The Irish folk of Wellington are de- . termined to make a special effort this year to celebrate the feast of Irelaftd<'s Patron Saint, and a strong and energetic committee has been working hard to ensure a successful celebration. The concert will take place at the Town Hall, on Friday, March 17. and the best talent procurable has been engaged, including Miss Winnie Praser, the Sydney soprano, Mr. G. H. Andrews, the Timaru baritone, Miss Teresa McEnroe, Miss Mabel Esquilant, Messrs. H. F. Woods, L.> Hanlon and Harold Whittle.
