T.B. PATIENTS.
POWER OF THE PEOPA-E'S £APER
The case of the T.B. man whose unenviable plight, was given" publicity to m a recent issue of "Truth," has aroused gi*eat interest and indignation among our readers, and many-enquiries and letters of protest have been received. The facts of the case were that this patient, a returned soldier with a splendid war record, had received medical advice to go immediately, into a sanatorium. .He applied to the Health authorities, but was advised that he 'had been "placed on the waiting list." The publicity given m "Ti'Uth" was immediately effective, for we are now informed that on the day following v the publication of. the article the patient concerned was hurried on to the nearest sanatorium by the authorities. Just another instance of the power of the People's Paper. •'
