The underlying principle of this was that If the workers were given the opportunity of collaborating with the management m the internal affairs of the factories, he would realise that there are limits which,; cannot be exceeded without entailing complete, destruction, and this union of capitar^ncUabor would be likely to have a beneflciai^effect on economical ?u i£ lo ?V a; ? d national prosperity. At the Fiat factory, which"is'the;most important of the- Italian automobile industry, and one of the most important engineering establishments m the' whole of Italy, work has been resumed on this baste,, and the old management has again taken command.
