Mrs. Marian Newton, who was granted separation and maintenance m a suit against her husband, W. B. Newton, last August, at Ohristchurch, now writes, after four months of contemplation, to correct the meaning of certain statements which appeared m "Truth's" report of the case. She says her husband was never a mean man; she did not ridicule his picture work, m which he was sincere; and there was no mention m a letter from England of a girl having received a ring from him. We trust to see the young couple united again and living (happy ever after.
