SYDNEY, Monday. At the Stadium on Saturday night the champion featherweight, Syd. Godfrey, completely vindicated himself and Referee Wallis by severely trouncing Harry Holmes m a twenty-rounds bout. The weights were: Godfrey Bst 131 b,. Holmes Sst 131 b. Wihen the pair met a month back the decision wont m Godfrey's favor, but it was urged' that the referee had blundered, and, accordingly, nothing was left but another match. On Satirrday night Godfrey made no mistake and completely outclassed Holmes, thus retaining the championship.
