New Development.

As was to be expected from the nature of the judge's remarks m the Supreme Court proceedings at Wellington, m which Hayne and Neylon were charged with certain malpractices, the young lady m tho case, Gladys Bachelor, 'is to be proceeded against m the lower court, Dunedln, on March 26, tho charge being one of permitting the alleged offence to be committed. It will be remembered that during the Wellington proceedings Miss Bachelor declined to answer any of the Grown Prosecutor's or' Judge's questions. The re-trial of Hayne and Neylon takes place at Wellington m May.
