MISSING MONEY.
Edward Cornelius Sullivan was charged last week; that at Christchurch on April 24, he stole a cashbox containing £25 m money, cheques worth £20 4s 7d, and a couple of rings and a tie pin worth 14s belonging to Lawrle and Dalton. As an encore, Sullivan was also charged with failing to keep pace with a maintenance order m respect of his wife. Chief-Detective Mcllveney asked that accused be remanded to appear on May 9, and the request was granted, bail being fixed at £200.
