Some members of the Mudfield Hor r nets football team recently decided to spend the two 'hours' wait m a strange townat billiards. Whatever their skill on the -muddied field, they wore not up to championship form on the green cloth, and the four-handed game produced some -fine fun for the onlookers. Whoosh! Thump! Clatter! One of the players managed to send the red ball bouncing off the table among the mugs and glasses. The man who followed him scratched his head, and looked at the marker with doubt on his features^- '■ '.'ls It our throw on or do I havo to use my stick?" he asked.
