In presenting the prises, the manager of Alcock's congratulated the winners on their skilful and sportsmanlike exhibitions, and expressed the regret that both Mr. Congdon and Mr. Key were not able to compete m the New Zealand Championship just held. In responding, Mr. Congdon thanked Messrs. Alcock for the excellent facilities afforded the contestants and for the courtesy extended to them and the public.
